Do you accept insurance?

We do not accept insurance for your appointment time. By operating outside of the insurance system, I am able to spend more time with each patient to create personalized care plans without the limitations and red tape imposed by insurance companies. Please note that your insurance can be used outside our office for laboratory orders (e.g., bloodwork), imaging, and prescriptions based on individual plans. I prescribe FDA-approved medications and treatments unless one does not exist, and I take into account your insurance coverage and available cost-savings (manufacturer coupons, self-pay, etc.).

Can I use my FSA or HSA to pay for my visits?

We gladly accept FSA/HSA payments. We recommend checking with your FSA/HSA provider to confirm eligibility. We can provide you with a superbill for submission for out-of-network benefits..

How are laboratory test results conveyed to patients?

Laboratory results from Quest Diagnostics or LabCorp are reviewed promptly upon receipt. If any findings require timely discussion or clinical follow-up, you will be contacted to schedule a video or in-person visit to review the results.  If no urgent or clinically significant issues are identified, your laboratory results will be reviewed and discussed at your next scheduled appointment. They will be available for you to see in the portal.

What are your cancellation and "no-show" policies?

Canellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the appointment time, Appoitmments cancelled  with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a $150 cancellation fee. Failure to arrive for a scheduled appointment may result in a $150 "no-show" fee.

Do you treat patients with breast cancer and other hormone-sensitive cancersr?

I offer only non-hormonal medications for patients with these types of cancers. I can provide you information for other providers who may provide additional management.
